Data Visualisation
The following are examples of the data visualisation techniques the Revelation
system uses to give an enhanced view of a business enterprise.
The Revelation snapshot utilises SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) to render
multiple datasets across a business's whole operation in one view. Data
sets can be ranked by color to display relative performance.
When viewing the Revelation snasphot the user is able to select:
- The period to view for
- The data set which to render.
- Whether to rank the data by position or
by value.
- 'Replay' a period incrementally - i.e. iterate daily every
x seconds.
The following are example Revelation snapshot images.
Internal Flow :
Rendering internal flow data over one or more floors of
a business area.
Internal Flow combined with other data sets :
Displays performance in relation
to pass by traffic.
Full premises breakdown :
Accessible from the snapshot, displays full information
on an individual premises.
Whole Country View :
This snapshot, taken from the Revelation Retail Portal,
enables the user to view their entire operation. State View : Result of drill
down from country snapshot.
